FAGBOHURIGBE Felix

Fagbohurigbe Felix; Nigerian Attorney, commentator on national and International Law reviews and drafts. Fagbohurigbe bagged his Bachelor of Law degree, LLB, from the University of Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Osun State in 1980 and was called to the Bar in 1981. He practiced with Burke & Co before moving to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, where he worked in the drafting of the rules, regulations and listing requirements now known as ‘Rules Governing Listing on the Nigerian stock Exchange’. He also had a stint with the National Assembly during the Second Republic and was part of the officers that covered votes and proceedings of the Senate between 1981 and 1982.

Felix Fagbohurigbe established his own chambers, F. O. Fagbohungbe & Co in 1985. He was appointed as a Notary Public and confered with the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, title in 2000. He was honoured with the Balogun of Erin Ijesa and Otun Atayese of llesa for the roles he played as indigene of Ijesa in Osun State. He is the Registrar of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), llesa Diocese and member of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Institute of Directors, IOD, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, ATLA, and the International Bar Association, IBA. He is also a board member of the prestigious Institute of Transnational Arbitration, Texas. USA
