Damilola Adegbite, the Tinsel soap opera actress was born May 1985 in Surulere, Lagos into a family of four. Through the high-quality TV series aired on MNet, she became one of the most recognizable faces in the industry, but quitted in 2012 to explore the film industry, stating the time consuming and high demands of her original career engagement as reason. Her debut in the movies however was in 2010, when she took the lead role in a romantic comedy. Before then, she had acted in series of stage performances, including The Vagina Monologues, which dwelled on gender inequality. She got married in 2015 to Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, father of her child, with whom she co-stared in the Ghanaian movie. Dami Adegbite holds a bachelor’s degree of the Bowen University, Iwo in Business Administration.
