Shobanjo Abiodun is an Advertising professional, and CEO of the reality TV show, The Apprentice Africa, born in 1951. For seven years, Shobanjo worked as a studio manager, then as a production manager at the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation now known as the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). In 1971, he joined the Grant Advertising, and rose to the position of the Deputy Managing Director in 1976, in his twenties.

In 1980, Shobanjo joined friends in establishing Insight Communication, now Insight Grey, a marketing communication company, which grew to become a big player in the advertising profession in Nigeria.
